Charlie Brown and Miss Grey came to us from Chiltern and were born in February 2013. They are shy little creatures, but very sweet. If you annoy or tease them they may spit at you. If those ears go right back and their head comes forward – look out! They enjoy hay and pellets and have regular time in the large paddocks with our ewes when they are lambing – they are great watch dogs and protect the heard very well.
Lucy came to us from Linley Park Animal Farm in Mulwala NSW after it was devastated by a tornado in 2013. Lucy is quite a shy girl. A female llama is called a dam, a male called a sire and a cria is the name given to a baby llama. The ears of a llama are banana shaped: long and curved inward. Did you know that Llama’s manure is almost odourless!
